Male USB Plug for charging EverLites® or cell phones from any computer USB Port
Here's how the MP1 Kit works: First, you plug the USB Converter into any of our EverLite® Lamps and this provides USB output power. Then, you select the correct adapter plug for your cell phone from the MP1 Kit and plug it into the USB output power port. Last, plug the adapter plug into your cell phone, MP3 player, digital camera, GPS locator or other hand-held electronic device. Assuming that your EverLite® Lamp has a charged battery, your cell phone or other device will now indicate that it is being charged.
As shown in the diagram above, you can also plug your solar panel into the USB Converter to speed up the charging process in sunny conditions, which gets more juice going into your cell phone.
NOTE: Not all devices will become fully charged from all the EverLite® Lamp products, because it depends on how much charge is in your EverLite® Lamp and how depleted the battery in your cell phone or other device might be. However, as soon as you make the connections to start charging a dead cell phone, you can begin talking right away -- You don't have to wait for your cell phone to be fully charged.
The Male USB Plug with a short cable can also be used to get your cell phone or other hand-held electronic device charged from a laptop or computer USB port, instead of using the battery in your EverLite® Lamp. You can also use the same Male USB Plug with the short cable to provide a quick charge to any EverLite® Lamp using the power from a USB port on a laptop or other computer.
You can start talking from a dead cell phone right away with the MP1 Kit & your EverLite® lamp. Just plug the USB Converter into any EverLite® lamp to get USB output power. Your MP1 Kit also includes a solar panel input jack to allow simultaneous solar charging to your EverLite® Lamp battery at the same time you are extracting battery power via the USB Converter for charging your cell phone. With the MP1 Kit, renewable solar energy can be used for charging personal electronic devices like cell phones or iPods.
