This 12V Converter plugs into any of the EverLite Lamps and extracts stored solar energy in the Lamp Battery and converts it to 12VDC power that is provided to a female cigarette socket.  Any portable electronic device like cell phones can be recharged using the normal car charger plugged into the 12V Converter cigarette socket.  Slightly less efficient than the EA6 USB Converter (because the DC voltage must be boosted to a higher level), the EA1 12V Converter works quite well for most purposes.  Remeber that you can plug into a dead cell phone and start talking right away -- you do not have to wait until your cell phone is fully charged. 

Comes with a 3-way Tee Connector that plugs into your EverLite Lamp to allow using the solar panel plugged into one side of the Tee to continue solar charging, while extracting battery power from your EverLite Lamp at the same time for charging via the 12V Converter which is plugged into the other side of the Tee.
